Stacey Shanks, MSM, E-RYT, RCYT
President & Founder
Stacey started teaching and practicing yoga in 2006 after attending a weekend workshop. She knew there was an internal shift just after attending a few yoga classes. She always left a yoga class feeling better, calm and connected to her inner compass more than before. This, along with her passion for teaching children, prompted her to take yoga into the classroom.
It has now been several years of Stacey teaching in and out of the classrooms, studios and camps. That “inner compass” now directs her to share the love of yoga to today’s youth. Her overall goal is to provide children with the tools to help them navigate through life. “Yoga is one of the best tools available to help manage life’s stresses.”
Stacey’s teaching style highlights yoga as a compassionate, loving, non-judgmental and fun practice. She is, especially, able to utilize her imagination and creativity for children’s yoga, yet continues to enjoy teaching adults, too.
